REDERMALIZATION

A NEW ERA IN SKIN REJUVENATIOn

"Good skin requires commitment, not a miracle"

Why should i have redermalization treatments?

Because it’s delivers all needed substances directly to our skin. To understand the Redermalization treatment and why it is so important, you have to grasp the causes of ageing which are three-fold:

Dehydration of the skin.

The effect of free radicals on the skin.

The slowing down of metabolic processes that in turn slows down the production of collagen, elastin & hyaluronic acid in the skin.

what is redermalization treatment?

Redermalisation is the process of injecting a mixture of Hyaluronic Acid and Sodium Succinate using a special technique, to rejuvenate the skin.

Hyaluronic acid is known for its hydrating properties, which addresses the first cause of ageing. Succinic Acid blocks free radicals and has the effect of an antioxidant with powerful restorative properties, addressing the second cause of ageing.

It also stimulates the production of collagen and elastin at a cellular level, which addresses the third cause of ageing.

Redermalization aims to re-organise as well as stimulate the production of collagen and elastin fibres – and in so doing results in skin renewal. Other injectable treatments target the tissue just beneath the skin – whereas Xela Rederm is injected directly into the skin itself – treating the actual problem rather than just plumping from below.

Pigmentation can be caused by a number of different factors: the sun (sun spots), hormones (melasma or chloasma), trauma to the skin (post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation) and even genetics (freckles and beauty spots). While sun exposure and skin trauma can be limited or avoided as far as possible, there isn’t as much we can do about our genes however imbalances in our hormones can be managed, Succinic Acid has further been clinically proven to reduce pigmentation, making this an excellent treatment for pigmentation.

WHAT you will experience during the redermalization treatment?

First, a numbing cream is applied before the procedure to avoid any discomfort. The Xela Rederm is injected into the skin, meaning that it reaches the deeper levels of the dermis, giving the skin the tools it needs to rejuvenate itself. The tiny injections further stimulate the production of collagen & elastin as the body floods the affected area with healing compounds, both of which addresses the third factor of ageing.

The areas most commonly treated are the face, neck and decollete, with great results also being seen on the hands. Treatments around the eyes address fine lines, thinning skin and dark circles. The overall effect is improved skin quality, better hydration and an even skin tone.

WHAT are the benefits of having the xela treatment?

A more youthful looking Skin

Improved complexion

Improved skin relief and texture

Reduction of wrinkles

Skin lifting

Improved appearance of pigmentation

Acne scarring and Stretchmark improvement

how often should i have a treatment?

for optimal results, 3-6 treatments are required, dependent on the skin quality, with 2-3 weeks between each session.

what results can be expected?

An overall improvement in skin quality with an increase in skin tightness and elasticity with improved hydration and texture of the skin. Results will continue to improve over time with maximum results seen at about 3 months after the treatment course.

Directly after the treatment, there will be very small bumps where the product has been injected that resemble tiny insect bites.

These bumps will disappear over the next few hours once they are absorbed into the deeper layers of the skin.

The result is plumper, firmer and more hydrated skin. Apart from the bumps, there may be some mild redness and a chance of a small bruise
